BIOGRAPHY

Elly Rebeka is a professional dancer, singer, actor, and magician's assistant currently based in Pigeon Forge, TN. Over her vast career, Elly has had opportunities to perform at dinner theaters, theme parks, and performing arts centers and brings her versatility to all things on stage, backstage, and front of house.

Elly has a diverse background in dance and theater that began at a young age. She has worked as a dancer, singer, actor, swing, stunt performer, choreographer, dance captain, costumer, scenic painter, lighting designer, assistant production manager, run tech, house manager, and usher (oh, my). Throughout her career, Elly has always believed in being a well-rounded, experienced, and grounded performer. For that reason, Elly dove head first into learning as many styles of dance and elements of theater as possible which allow her to connect and communicate with many artists and jump into any situation that may present itself. Elly prides herself on being an adaptable and diverse performer that can mold to each project.

Currently, Elly is performing as Velma Kelly in the Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse production of Chicago. She is loving every minute of dancing in the Fosse style and is truly enjoying bringing such a classic character to life. To see more photos, reviews, and learn more about this production, check out the "production highlights" page up top. When she's not performing on contract, Elly tours the country with Jason Hudy in Mesmerizing Magic.

Previously, Elly spent two years at the Mountain of Entertainment Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN as the Dance Captain at Array Variety Show as well as the Lead Magic Assistant in Illusionation! The Magic of Jason Hudy. In the second year, Elly was promoted to Assistant Production Manager where she oversaw all back of house operations, cast scheduling, tech adjustments, costume maintenance, and assisted the theater in any way possible! Elly is so grateful for the opportunities at MOET to expand her knowledge in the offstage space, alongside performing in such a fun show.

Elly is a graduate of Ball State University where she received a BFA in Dance, a BA in French, and a minor in Theatrical Studies. At Ball State, she performed in classical repertoire such as Cinderella: The Ballet (Summer Fairy) and Steps in the Street by Martha Graham (Pops). She also performed in modern concerts choreographed by Audra Sokol and Rebecca Pappas, and even performed original choreography, entitled Fade, as part of the Junior Choreography Projects. She continued her choreographic journey with the musical Fun Home during her senior year. During her time at Ball State, Elly fostered her love of all things dance and theatre and gained experience in all disciplines of dance.

In high school, Elly was an honors thespian through the International Thespian Society and also actively participated in performances and costumes. Additionally, Elly had the chance to work with Buffalo Grove Park District as an assistant dance teacher and a summer camp counselor teaching dance classes, managing a large group of students and teaching games and various crafts to elementary and middle school students. Elly gained leadership and confidence in teaching which she now applies to being a dance captain and choreographer on various projects.

Professionally, Elly has performed as a dancer/singer/swing with RWS Entertainment Group on four separate contracts, as the Dance Captain/Ensemble in White Christmas at Circa'21 Dinner Playhouse, at Six Flags America during their Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park seasons, as a Magic Assistant with the LOL Comedy Magic Show at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari and at WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge, and worked with local theater companies as an assistant choreographer, dance captain, and performer.

Outside of performing, Elly also enjoys painting, traveling, baking, and sitting on the couch with her cats.
